Roadmap

Plans for the next release

We try to release new versions approximately every 3 or 4 months if possible. The next release will be v0.8.11 and should be ready until end of july 2013. It has the focus on new features, the main topics are:

• support for Speex codec
• some usability improvements

Plans for the future

Some things are left for the time after the next release (work never stops...)

• put the project on KDE Extragear
• recording via PulseAudio
• JACK audio support
• more online help, especially about usage
• import of ASCII format files (please tell me if you need that)
• if someone helps: online help in some more languages
• Delay plugin
• Flanger plugin
• improvements on the amplify and fade plugins
• LADSPA support
• maybe some other plugins with sound effects...
